Amy took on the Dales runner 30 (31.7Km/19.7m) on Saturday which ascends almost 3,000ft from Swaledale up to the Tan Hill Inn (Great Britain’s highest pub) It goes across some of the country’s remotest expanses of moorland with a stiff ascent of the spectacular Swinner Gill. Thankfully Steve has recovered and is back racing! This weekend he was taking part in the run Aintree 5k and was second MV75 putting in a great time of 28:18! Glad to see you back running Steve!

We had four runners at a new 10km road race organised by Halifax Harriers as a replacement event for the Helen Windsor. Richard, Andrew, Jo and Peter took on the race on Sunday morning which also Incorporated the Yorkshire Veterans Athletic Association and Northern Masters Championships.
