It was Queensbury’s turn to host the sixth race of the YVAA Grand Prix series.
There were 183 runners on the starting line in Littlemoor Park on what was a very hot day, presenting the racers with an additional ‘Queensbury’ challenge.
Our marshals were as enthusiastic and welcoming as ever, which helped the runners no end.
Thank you to all the Marshals and volunteers back at the Arch and well done to everyone who participated especially to the Queensbury club runners…
First over the finishing line for QRC was
Carl Heron in 43.08 mins.
Ian Greenwood 46.01 mins. Martin Sellors 53.32 mins. Pauline Naylor 54.34 mins (1st in age category).
Carl Mitchell 57.34 mins.
Jo Green 1hr 19 mins.
The next race of the series is at Slaithwaite on the 9th August, quickly followed by the Puma’s meet the following Thursday.
