Leeds 10k 2026

Leeds 10k . Report courtesy of Jane.

You know what you are getting for your money (quite a lot of it) at the Run For All Leeds 10k. A well organised race, lots of pre-race information about parking, route and water stations and, of course, a lot of people taking part! But, let’s be honest, what we all want to know is ‘what are the loos like?’

I’m not sure what any of the other QRC runners thought but I was hugely impressed – as well as the usual banks of portaloos near the start area (with the usual long queues) there was access to actual indoor plumbing in the event village at Millennium Square (and a much quicker turnaround).

The route itself starts at the University, travels through Headingley and Meanwood, before heading back to the finish on the Headrow. It has a few ‘speed-bumps’ but it is relatively flat – with a slightly cheeky hill at about 9k – and a good, relatively local 10k.

Club members taking part (according to the results) were Phil L (56:23), Rob G (59:42), Monica (1:07:36) and Jane S (1:13:44) but we also saw Evan, Elvis and Nik in club colours
