Last weekend, 11th May, we had 8 of QRC’s finest taking on the Leeds half and full marathons.
Andy, Richard, Adam and Nicola ran the half while Wasim, Tom, Jack and Emily opted for the full marathon.
Conditions were not ideal with it being a rather warm day, so just finishing was commendable.
All ran extremely well in heat with Andy coming away with a new PB in the half, as well as Tom and Jack setting new PB’s in the full. Shout out to Emily too for running her second marathon in as many weeks, completing Manchester 2 weeks ago 
.
While not actually being a member when running the race, Karen Cook competed the full marathon while running her last race in Otley colours, as she’ll soon be joining QRC, so we thought we’d include her in our post as a welcome.
Unfortunately Wasim and Adam seem to have evaded the cameras.
