Gary and Lucy took on the 44th running of The Haworth Hobble Ultra Marathon.
Running as a mixed pair they finished in 5:13:29 and narrowly missed out on the win by 28 seconds! Apparently they’re both fine about it though

The 51km/31.7 mile route, starting and finishing in Haworth has the unenviable task of 1700m/5577ft of climbing as it encompasses the moors around Bronte country, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge.
It turned out to be a beautiful day for it once the sun broke through the clouds.
A very well organised event with 6 well stocked feed stations and plenty of support out on the course. This year there was even Ultra running royalty in the shape of Jasmin Paris starting the race.
