Gill, Ryan and Jamie took on the Freckleton Half Marathon.
This is the oldest half marathon in the UK and was inspired by Ron Hill’s performance in the 1964 Summer Olympics. Ron was invited to the inaugural race which he won. Ron returned to the race in 2007 aged 70 and wore race number 65 in honour of the first year.
The 13.1 mile course is based from Bush Lane Playing Fields, Freckleton and is on a rural, mildly undulating route.
