Rob today took part in this hugely popular annual charity race run by Matlock Athletic Club in conjunction with Peak Rail.
It is a race that initially started as a club members only 5k but has now developed into a challenging 7 mile test of speed and stamina in which runners are challenged to beat the steam hauled heritage rail service from Rowsley South Station to Matlock Platform 2 station and back.
Rob put a valiant effort against Cathryn (the train) which also had Jane as passenger!
