On Saturday we had 5 members take on the 43rd running of the Haworth Hobble Ultra Marathon.
A superbly organised race with checkpoints filled with everything you need, water, cola, sweets, treats, cakes, hotdogs, chips…. And stuff you probably don’t need, Whiskey 
.
At just shy of 32 mile and around 5000ft of climbing, it’s a daunting, challenging race, traversing gritstone moors around Haworth, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge but all 5 absolutely crushed it.
Kole was first QRC member home in a very impressive 5 hours 36 seconds.
Next came Gary in 5 hours 24 minutes, closely followed by Amy in 5 hours 28. Matt finishing in 5 hours 57 and Carl finishing in 6 hours 14 minutes in his 8th running of the Hobble
