Northowram Pumas hosted the latest race in the Yorkshire Veterans Grand Prix series, Thursday, 11th July. Jo Horan, Carole Fryer, Pauline Naylor, Robin Naylor and Andrew Paterson represented Queensbury with QRC 2nd claim Mark Crabtree running for Halifax Harriers. Great commitment was shown by all QRC runners on a relatively local course with hills, steep muddy wooded sections, fields and road. Jo did particularly well, finishing as first female overall. Robin, Pauline and Mark won age category prizes….and Andrew won a prize for cycling to the event!
