With a stop off in Liverpool to do Croxteth Hall park run where members of Kirkby Milers Athletic Club received a shock owing to them thinking their club colours were unique to them, Gillian and Jamie then took on the Village Bakery Wrexham Half Marathon. This flat, fast half started on Bridge Road North and finished at ‘The Club House’ Oak Road on Wrexham Industrial Estate, this classic race is popular with some of the fastest runners in the region as well as those taking it on for the first time.
