Pauline Naylor competed in the classic, high moorland, Widdop Fell Race on the evening of Wednesday 12th June. A proper mid-week fell running toughie, the race is set on the stunning hills overlooking Widdop Reservoir.
The 7 miles route took in 1,200ft of Calderdale’s finest fells, before finishing with a dash back up towards the newly reopened Pack Horse Inn.
Pauline came 72nd and third female in her age group. A commendable effort in a field of hardened fell runners.
