We had 4 runners out at The Bluebell Trail, hosted by Stainland Lions Running Club. A cracking turnout of over 400 runners, what better way to fill your Bank Holiday Sunday
A classic local race, it takes in 10.3 miles of trails with over 1500ft of climbing, including the infamous (awful) Trooper Lane and a river crossing!
The sun made an unlikely appearance resulting in some hot running conditions, there will be some red shoulders tomorrow – The river crossing came as a great relief!
QRC results:
Tom Collinge – 2nd
Carl Heron – 60th (3rd V60 )
Wasim Hussain – 63rd
Stacey Cleal – 188th (3rd FV55 )
Well done all!
