We had 2 teams entered into the 2024 Gathering Winter Fools relay, it was originally due to be run in December but some strong winds meant a postponement, with the race finally being held this weekend.
Our ‘A’ Team got off to a flying start, chasing eventual winners Bingley Harriers all the way and handing over to leg 2 in 2nd place, Paul and Gary ran so well on leg 1 that Mick and Carl we’re still warming up and looking for a toilet when they came in 
.
All 4 pairs ran brilliantly well and stayed in 2nd place all the way to the end 
.
Our ‘B’ team didn’t have such issues and were probably more organised! Finishing 14th overall.
Everyone commented on how well organised the event was and how good the food was at the end too.
