What a turnout…. 13 QRC runners took on the Great North Run this weekend representing the club and every one of them did fantastic. The weather threw all sorts at them including red hot temperatures and torrential rain! Well done everyone of you!
This weekend was the Yorkshireman half and full marathon – another race where we had some amazing results. Amy finished first lady in the Full Marathon, Jo Horan was 2nd lady in the half and Tom finished 3rd overall in the half. Another race affected by the weather but it didn’t stop some amazing results.
This weekend was Wetherby 10k and also a club championship race….. well done to the guys who ran it and got some impressive times and great category positions!
Mick, Carl and Chris took on the Stainland Trail 10k this weekend with all three posting brilliant times and category positions. Mick and Carl finished 1st in their age categories and Chris 4th! Well done guys on a tough course!

Saturday night saw a lot of Green, Orange and tutus descend on Blackpool for the clubs championship race. There were options of a 5k or 10k event or spectating with a pint in hand.
