Andrew Young ran the Yorkshire 10 mile yesterday around York in a brilliant time The race began in the heart of York – arguably the most beautiful City in the UK – and passed many of the its historic landmarks, including the world-famous York Minster and the mighty medieval City Walls Well done Andy!
Vikki and Simon both ran the second Bridlington multi-terrain 13.5 mile race Sunday 1st Oct 2023 The course starts on the prom and heads off to Sewerby, Danes dyke and Flamborough before returning to finish back on the prom. Well done guys, it sounds a great route!
Sunday 1st Oct was race 7 of the Veterans series at Ackworth. Jo Lockwood placed 3rd in her category and Jo Horan was 2nd lady and described the course as an absolute mud bath! Well done guys!

Sunday was Spen Valley 10k which is also one of QRC club championship runs. A great turnout again and some great times…. Next club championship run is Settle Loop 10 on the 28th October Well done to all the runners this weekend!
Jamie and Gillian both took on Berlin Marathon yesterday (despite Spen Valley 10k been on) and completed it in impressive times. Jamie has now completed 2 of the major marathons as his targets all 6! Well done both!
With nights getting darker it’s time to delve in the back of the wardrobe for the high vis clothing and charge up your running lights for the Thursday night runs!
