Joe, Gary, Chris and Carl in action at the 29th running of the Baildon Boundary Way, a multi terrain half marathon.
The weather forecast wasn’t looking great, with storms set to bring the rain and 50mph winds, luckily for these 4, that never really happened as the sun came out for the majority of the race.
The rain we’ve had recently did leave certain sections of the route, shall we say, slightly boggy!! (Ankle deep mud) but for the most part it was pretty good and runable.
Joe was first QRC member home and coming 3rd V35-45, followed by Gary just a couple of minutes behind. Chris, who was running his first race since 1997!! Yes you read that right, was 3rd member home, again, closely followed by Carl.
A massive thank you to Baildon and everyone involved for putting on such a good race. It was also lovely to see so many people out along route supporting and cheering on the runners.
